Review: Disney Credit Cards

disney-credit-cardDisney offers 2 rewards cards in partnership with Chase. Which one is right for you will depend on how often you visit Disney resorts and/or how often you use your credit card:

  • The is a no-annual-fee credit card that offers you 1% back in Disney Reward Dollars on all your card purchases. Your Disney Reward Dollars can be used toward Disney park tickets, Disney DVDs, and any other Disney merchandise. You get a $50 statement credit after you use the card for the first time, and it also offers other Disney perks like private character meet & greets at Disney parks. .
  • from Chase offers you a bit more than the basic Disney Visa, and could be worth the $49 annual fee if you spend enough in designated categories. With this one, you get 2% in Reward Dollars at gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, and most Disney locations, 1% everywhere else. You also get a $200 statement credit after you spend at least $500 with the card in the first 3 months of having it. This card’s online application is .

Our take: Stick to the no-annual-fee Disney Rewards Visa unless you really pile up the spending on gas and groceries. The $49 fee on the Premier Visa will not be worth it for most cardholders.
