Review: Abercrombie & Fitch Credit Card

abercrombie-fitch-credit-cardAbercrombie & Fitch would be delighted to offer you their store card with its high interest rate and no rewards. The question is: why would you want it? Our short & sweet review of this terrible credit card is below:

OK, so the first thing to know about the Abercrombie & Fitch credit card is that you can only use it at Abercrombie, not anywhere else. That’s Strike One, as it usually doesn’t make sense to open a new line of credit for a card with such limited acceptance, because opening new credit lines can hurt your credit score, especially if you have a shaky credit history.

Now, there may be exceptions, such as if the card has a really great rewards program. Many retailers allow you to earn points on your credit card purchases that you can redeem for gift cards on future purchases. But not Abercrombie & Fitch. Their credit card has no rewards program at all. Strike Two.

So, you’re probably thinking that the card must have a really great interest rate then, right? Wrong. The Abercrombie credit card has a 24.99% interest rate! Strike Three!

Don’t get this card. Even if you are desperate for a credit card of some sort, you are better off starting just about anywhere other than the Abercrombie card. That said, if you still want it, you can apply for the Abercrombie credit card (issued by Comenity Bank) via .
