Hawaiian Airlines, in partnership with Barclays Bank, that allows you to earn miles toward future Hawaiian Airlines purchases. Our overview / review of the consumer and business credit cards is below:
The first thing we like about the Hawaiian Airlines credit cards is that they are MasterCard credit cards, meaning they are accepted widely. Here at albinamatveeva.ru we prefer cards with wide acceptance versus those only accepted at a single merchant. If you’re going to open a new credit line, it should be for a card that you can actually use on a regular basis.
- The is the card for consumers. It carries a $89 annual fee. The card offers 2 miles per dollar on purchases directly from Hawaiian Airlines, and 1 miles per dollar on all other purchases. You can also earn who reward you for your business. You can also earn sign-up bonuses: 35,000 bonus miles if you use the card for at least $1000 in purchases within 90 days, and a one-time 50%-off companion ticket.
The card has no foreign transaction fee, and you get one free checked bag on your flights when you purchase directly from Hawaiian Airlines. The card offers an interest rate of 15.99%, 19.99%, or 24.99%, depending on your credit history. If you get stuck with the 24.99% rate, do not keep this card! No one should have to pay that high of an interest rate!
- The is almost exactly the same as the consumer card described above. In fact, the only difference we could see is that the Business MasterCard gives you the 35,000 bonus sign-up miles just for making your first purchase with the card, with no spending threshhold to meet. If you are a big card spender, you can also earn big bonus miles each year on your “card anniversary” — 20,000 bonus miles if you’ve used the card for at least $50,000 in purchases, or 40,000 bonus miles if you’ve used it to spend at least $100,000.
As far as we can tell, the Business MasterCard also does NOT offer the first bag checked free on Hawaiian Airlines flights, which seems strange.
